15 साल पहले, 1 पानी का जहाज़ था, उसमें 23 साल का लड़का मैं था , 2 साल अकेले कमरे में आपके 3 ग़ज़लों के कैसेट्स के साथ काटे हैं ।
एक एक लफ्ज़ को 1000 बार सुना है और हर बार एक नए मतलब से तार्रुफ़ हुआ ।
आपकी आवाज आखरी सांस तक मन में जवां रहेगी।

बहुत दर्द सहे हैं पर कभी आँखों को बहने नहीं दिया...लेकिन जगजीत सर आपके और काका ( राजेश खन्ना ) के जाने पर खुद को रोक नहीं पाया और बहुत बहुत आँख रोती रहीं...आप दोनों को बहुत याद करता हूँ....

जेठ की दुपहरी, कपड़े की डोरी से लिपटा रेडियो, आधे आंगन में अंगूर की छांव, गोबर से लीपा हुआ आंगन, कच्ची अमिया,पोस्टकार्ड में लिखा प्यार और आशीर्वाद कितना कुछ याद आया।😊
